The Itinerary
Day 1 | Wednesday | July 29 | Edinburgh
Welcome to Scotland’s beloved and beautiful capital, Edinburgh.
Arrival at EDI Airport, transfer to the hotel, dinner, and a proper Scottish introduction with a whisky nightcap.
Slàinte Mhath!
Day 2 | Thursday | July 30 | Edinburgh- Old & New Town
A full day dedicated to Edinburgh’s historic heart.
Guided tour of Edinburgh Castle, group photos in medieval costumes, a walk along the Royal Mile, discovering hidden closes, ghost tales, philosophers, and kings.
The day concludes at the world-famous Whisky Experience, home to the largest Scottish whisky collection.
Learn how water turns into liquid gold.
Day 3 | Friday | July 31 | Dean Village, Leith & Shabbat Preparations
A beautiful morning walk through Dean Village along the Water of Leith.
Continue to the port area of Leith with a cruise to view the iconic Three Bridges across the Firth of Forth.
In the afternoon, visit a prestigious kiltmaker and learn about traditional Highland craftsmanship.
Transfer to the hotel for Shabbat preparations.
Shabbat Shalom, Edinburgh.
Day 4 | Saturday | August 1 | Shabbat in Edinburgh
A relaxing Shabbat with a gentle stroll near the University of Edinburgh (weather permitting),
a special Shabbat talk on Scottish traditions, and well-deserved rest.
Evening preparation to begin Part B of the journey: The Scottish Highlands.
Day 5 | Sunday | August 2 | Stirling & Into the Highlands
Farewell to the lowlands of Edinburgh and off to adventure.
Visit the majestic Kelpies sculptures and the innovative Falkirk Wheel.
Continue to Stirling for a walk up to the Wallace Monument and a guided visit at the museum dedicated to William Wallace and the Battle of Stirling Bridge.
Drive through the Loch Lomond region toward Glencoe, our home for the next four nights.
Day 6 | Monday | August 3 | Glencoe- Mountains & Movie Magic
Morning hike in the tranquil Glencoe Lochan woodland trails.
Scenic panoramic drive through the dramatic landscapes of Glencoe Valley.
View the Jacobite Steam Train crossing the Glenfinnan Viaduct, made famous by the Harry Potter films.
Cable car ride up the Ben Nevis mountain range to admire the highest peak in the United Kingdom.
Day 7 | Tuesday | August 4 | Highlands Nature & Oban Distillery
A special meeting with local Highland landowners working to restore native Scottish habitats.
Travel to Oban, a picturesque harbor town:
• Guided tour and tasting at Oban Distillery
• Stunning viewpoint at McCaig’s Tower
Return to Glencoe along scenic coastal and mountain routes.
Day 8 | Wednesday | August 5 | Glencoe- Highland Spirit & Celebration
Hiking to iconic sites such as the Three Sisters, Meeting of Waters, and Skyfall Road.
Outdoor Highland activities with locals: archery, axe throwing, crossbows, and clay shooting.
Visit to the historic Ballachulish Slate Quarry.
A festive farewell evening with a private whisky tasting, Scottish dancers, and bagpipes.

Day 9 | Thursday | August 6 | Glencoe- Glasgow- Departure
Departure south to Glasgow.
Depending on the flight schedule, possible visits include the Jewish Archives and the city’s famous street murals.
